Dr. Amir Issa is a Double-Board Certified Interventional specialist with clinical practice focused on interventional pain and venous disease. He is certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatics Medicine, the most prestigious board certificate for an interventional Vein Doctor. He is also a registered phlebology (venous) sonographer.

Dr. Amir Issa completed transitional internship at Weill Cornell Medical School, Cleveland Clinic Foundation and National Institute of Health (NIH), followed by Clinical Research Internship at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center where he developed special interest in cancer pain. Later, Dr. Issa completed residency at New York Medical College at St. Michaels, followed by Interventional Pain fellowship with North American Spine Society where he mastered advanced spine procedures, including minimally invasive skeletal and vascular interventions.
Dr. Amir Issa is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the American Vein & Lymphatics Society. Dr. Issa has published many articles in peer reviewed journals and is frequently invited to give presentations about his expertise. Dr. Issa provides a unique clinical experience that combines dual specialties. This expertise enables him to evaluate the patient from a comprehensive multi-system approach.
